this burlesque club is known in most of new york city for its funny, raunchy, dinner-time shows. shows are always rated R, but you'd have to come during strange hours of the night to see something really messed up (they have it, though). they treat the employees and dancers (male and female) surprisingly well.

the deuce is just a polite way to say the red light district. there's more than just girls standing in booty shorts though and instead there's a handful of clubs, a small ratty apartment complex, and a few restaurants scattered about. it seems harmless enough during the day, but at night, the crime seems to pick up like it were home to a prison.
