the west campus is mostly devoted to the more intellectually driven academics the academy has to offer. as said by most students "it's where all the super-nerds hang out". devoted to those who wish to pursue the more exotic advanced fields of science, you're bound to find several students discussing the latest in bio-nanotech or fertilizing barren planets in alternate realities.

Sub-boards: THE CLOUD, MECHANICS LAB

the east campus is known mostly as the recreational part of avengers compound, devoted to helping students get some downtime. students could go check out the olympic sized pool and artificial beach for some summer fun. or maybe check out the extensive athletic activities including a full-sized basketball stadium. of course, you could check out the academy's world-famous grill renowned for it's downright heavenly sushi bar. if there's one part of the academy students love, it's definitely this one.

the north campus is mostly considered the area in which a majority of the more "practical" classes are taken. by "practical", the academy means "combat-oriented and possibly lethal". focused on helping students better control powers and apply them, this is where you can a bountiful supply of training equipment, obstacles courses, and the world-famous "Threat Simulator". students are also known to come here when they need to work off some stress by charring test dummies alive with some pyrokinesis.

hovering high above new york city, unseeing and hidden just above the clouds, is the SHIELD helicarrier. it's literally a giant air-craft carrier hovering high above in the air. this is the SHIELD main headquarters where it watches from above and polices the world through covert actions.

known as the crossroads of the world, times square is busy at any given time. there's a plethora of attractions to look at, including the beloved disney store and ripley's believe it or not. various corporations have their headquarters here as well and then there are the skyscrapers that just make everything else seem so small.

you can't visit new york without checking out the local china town, a bustling place filled with residents and tourists alike. various vendors can be found on the streets, all of them selling all sorts of fantastic marvels from food to jewelery. during the holidays, china town becomes alight with festivities, the most popular of which are the dragon dances.

Sub-board: THE BIG FIGHT

one of the most famous districts across the u.s, hollywood is home to movies and stars. paparazzi flock here and tourists are dying to get the autographs of celebrities. there's multiple theaters, each one unique, and a variety of hotels and stores to see.

in the summer months, the water is warm and welcoming and the beach is crowded with people. there's the volleyball courts, a basketball court as well as various stores, stalls, and stands, all set up to sell various things. there hasn't been a shark attack in months!

the las vegas zoo has over a hundred and fifty animals and plants and is open year round. it has a variety of activities, from formal classes on animals to feeding the lions and casual seminars where a trainer might just allow you to pet an exotic lizard. there's also the overpriced souvenir shop so don't forget to stop by it.

this hall is devoted to weapon/device development, the technology hub of the institute. it's here where students strive to make the greatest strides and breakthroughs in science so they can abuse it. here is where science is debased like a common whore and made to do horrible horrible things to mankind. looking for a cryogenic freeze ray or flesh eating hyper-accelerated viruses? you're in the right place.

c hall is the designated leisure/recreational area of the institute. even budding young sociopaths need some place to wind down. the young masters institute runs the gamut of entertainment products from several high-class food stands to the latest in gaming. the real gem of this area however is the combat stadium known as "The Proving".

this hall is devoted to researching a relatively new and unexplored concept in the super-hero world: magic. for the most part, magic is an art with little understanding and the young masters institute has long realized it's destructive potential. most studies in this hall are especially devoted to understanding, developing and harnessing the dark arts of the magical world.
